This installation was inspired by the Longobards which reigned Italy from 570 to 700 AC. They were already christians but brought their Celtic culture with them. Therefor the patterns and are similar to the Celtic. In a church nearby were I live I saw the first time these patterns in stone which seems like a nordic mandala. I repeated these patterns with different materials and did also some stones. The exhibition took place in Buxtehude 2010 from the “Buxtehuder Kunstverein” curated by Jutta de Vries
